I have started a new blog for Cricut Craft Room Cut Files. Please visit and follow. I am also looking for designers to help. If you are interested please email me. Melodylanedesigns@gmail.com
Thanks Melody....I just started using my Cricut Craftroom and designed a plain, simple cupcake wrapper using the bird one from Cindy Loo (if you're interested, let me know), but was so proud of myself for creating it. A friend had a pattern she wanted printed on paper (to match her daughter's 1st birthday invites, etc) and a simple scalloped wrapper. Yay! I created her 36 of them and was able to print 3 to a 8.5 x 11 sheet of lightweight cardstock. Just thought I'd share! I've downloaded a few of yours and thanks again so much! I have one question....how can you tell once you've imported the file, which cartridges are required? Does it tell you anywhere within the software? Or will it just tell you when you are ready to cut, and to insert whichever cart? Just curious because some of the files I may have all but one of the three or four carts required.....and could I change it to my own by omitting those images for which I do not have on carts? Sorry so many questions and such a long post!....I'll stop now! :) Thanks!
I have been watching your Cricut Craft Room videos all day and downloaded some cut files. I was most impressed with your 3D Fishbowl, but when I click on get Cricut Craft Room cut file, it takes me to Box. From there, I can not figure out how to get the file. Would it be possible for you to post that one on the Craft Room Cut Files site? Thanks a bunch!
Hi Melanie! I have been watching you in youtube, you have learned me so much. Thanks for al your tutorials and hauls. Wisch i could find all godies in swedwen to. I would try to do the ribbonholder today thanks for sharing. Lot of hugs Maria
I'm new to all of this, but I enjoy your videos. And you did one for Mothers Day a card that spells out MOM. How do I down load this file. Please help me.
Hi Melody, I am new to the wonderful world of SVG files. I have googled my heart out and have not been able to find the answer to a question I have. Out of every page or blog I have been to your's is the ONLY one I can get cut files from. If I go to another site they are usually zip files but when I extract the file and try to open it, it comes up as an Internet Explorer page and will not show up in my downloaded files when I try to open them in craft room. Do you know of a tutorial online that could show me how to get these files to show up as project files in craft room or am I just choosing non- compatible files in the first place? Any help would be wonderful.
Merry Christmas! I am so obsessed with figuring all of this out- I have several questions- the link on your log for cricut circle member doesn't work, how do I become a member? Also, when searching the cut files can I search based on the cartridges I own? Last question, my daughter has a project based on Roman history, I see a cartridge that has things like columns, but can I make something like that without buying another cartridge?
Wow! Thanx so much
