Storing Glitter Glue-Ribbon

Hi Everyone! I finally am storing my glitter glues upside down! They will not dry up and will be easier to use this way. I used Velcro to hang my glitter glues upside down. I have now realized I have plenty of glitter and glitter glue and have room for NO MORE! "But it's soooo pretty. I always want more colors." ( as I say in a whiney voice) Video below.

I also moved all my ribbon to one area on ribbon racks I got from Michaels. I do have room for a tiny bit more. Not that I need it. Here's a tip on storing ribbon: I used my adhesive (ATG) to put on the edge of the ribbon so it does not hang down. See they kinda look new by not hanging off edge. I just put a dab of adhesive under the edge and stick to each other.

Here is a picture of all my glitter and glitter glue on 1 rack, I have embossing powder and flocking powder on another rack. Some of my Martha Stewart Punches on the top shelf of both of them.

21st Birthday Card

Hi Everyone! I'm here to share a card I made for a coworker, Jamie. He went to a Casino on his Birthday so I thought this card would fit.

I used the Las Vegas CCR Exclusive to make the roulette wheel. The font is from Feeling Groovy, I welded everything together in Cricut Craft Room, I also made a CCR tutorial and show how I created this whole card on 4 videos. I used the Cuttlebug on the red paper and used a Martha Stewart corner punch in the corners.

I used Recollections cardstock and raised the roulette wheel up on foam squares.
Here is the cut file for Cricut Craft Room.

This video shows how to piece together the Las Vegas Pieces
This video show how to finish it.

Warning-Too funny

Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting as much but I have been really busy. I have lots of videos to edit and at work we have too much fun so we have decided to make a youtube channel for the salon. I will share once we have the first video up that they are waiting for me to edit.

Ok on to todays post. My 7 year old niece Maddie wanted to come over on Sunday to make something in my craft room. She ended up staying the night because there was so much more she wanted to do. Here is one of the projects.

Decorated 3D glasses, I have done my own a while back, I will post the link to that post at the bottom if you missed it. Here is the cut file with both glasses in it. I used Masks-Earthy Elements CCR exclusive and Suburbia Cricut cartridges. I used Suburbia just to make the holes fit the 3D glasses. Maddie chose everything, white glitter paper, tie dye paper, and the cuttlebug folder by Anna Griffin but I don't remember which one. she picked the pink zebra and regular zebra for the rhinestones and put them on herself.

The video below is a MUST Watch! But please use the restroom before you watch and no drinking during movie, we don't want you to spit anything out and make an accident. The out takes at the end are very funny.

Here is a post to my first set of glasses.

Congratulations Card

Hi everyone, I have a Card for you I made for a coworker that has just passed her state board test for Beauty School. I used the Cricut cartridge Girl's Makeup Party. This was not a hard decision as to what card I would make for her, she loves hot pink and loves glitter and bling as much as me.

The card is 4.25x5.5" I used Cricut Craftroom to cut the images from Girls Makeup Party. I used recollections paper in metallic silver and hot pink. And popped up with foam squares. The base white paper is glitter paper from Joanns. The pink on the nail polish was put through a xyron and then coated with glitter and then glossy accents over the whole thing. I added a little rhinstones to the hair dryer. The ribbon was zebra with fur, feels like real zebra. I used the Cuttlebug on the glitter paper with the swirls folder with pick rhinestones in each swirl.

This is the inside of the card, I stamped with black ink and then embossed with Recollections Sparkle embossing powder.
I have a video showing more details.

Zebra print tv

Hi Everyone! Yes, you read that correctly. I added zebra print washi tape to me tv. I can do this because I am single and paid for it myself. I assume if you ask your husbands if you can decorate your tv they will say no. But think of all the possibilities, you don't have to use zebra print you can use your favorite washi tape, I used Recollections from Michaels. I got this idea because washi tape was on sale 50% off til Saturday and I didn't buy any because I have not used what I have. Some one asked what it is for and I came up with decorating a tv as one of my ideas. So, I had to try it. Works great and removes easily. Now I got to go back and buy more. I will post the shopping video below.

I made a video below.

Here is the video of tv

Here is the Shopping at Michaels video

Here is what I ended up buying...too much.

Happy Retirement Banner

Hi everyone! I have been busy! Crafting and shopping! I have done shopping hauls I have posted on my YouTube Channel but not here yet. so if you are not already you should subscribe. You will also get the videos a few days earlier there sometimes.

Okay, on to the project, I was asked to make this banner after a client in the salon I work at saw the Happy Birthday banner I made to celebrate other stylist birthdays. She is throwing a retirement party for 2 local high school teachers and the colors are...can you guess? Red, white and black, this was fun because I also attended this high school many years ago.

For the font I used Feeling Groovy Cricut cartridge, and Ribbons and Rosettes for the rosettes and in CCR I used something called Cricut Mini-Celebrate it has these pennants, card and envelope and much more, I'm not sure how I got it I am guessing it came free with my Cricut Mini but I'm not sure when it showed up in my account, just noticed it one day.

If you are interested in downloading the cut file just click here. My complete directions are in the video below. If you don't have all the cartridges I used you will not be able to cut with that file unless you substitute for cartridges you do have. In the cutfile I made it so you have to cut out as many pennants as you need 2 at a time on 8.5x11" paper with circles cut out at the same time with that paper to save paper. There is also a layer of just circles if you want them a different color, just cut what you need. I have the fonts and shadows and the rosettes...I put 5 pieces to fit on a 12x12" paper, I used 3 pieces to make 1 rosette but I think you can get away with only 2. again just cut what you need, I cut too many so don't ask me how many.

You cant see in the pictures but I did use my favorite glitter paper from Joanns, all the white you see is glitter paper. But remember you can change the colors, you could even make the rosettes more than 1 color. You could make a name banner for a child's room. Have fun with it!
